(1) Log in to the official website of the Argentine National Institute of Industrial Property at argentina.gob.ar/inpi ;

Step 1: Click the Patents button in the middle of the homepage;

Step 2: After the page jumps, click the Busacar e investigar (patent search) button at the bottom of the page. Click to jump to the patent search page: https://portaltramites.inpi.gob.ar/PatenteConsultas/BusquedaParametros ( cannot be accessed, maybe An external network is required).

(2) Legal event information can be viewed through the European Patent Office EPO - Espacenet: patent database with over 120 million documents ; the legal time column.

Argentina Annual Fee Calculation Method

(1) An invention patent is valid for 20 years from the date of application, and a utility model is valid for 10 years from the date of submission. There is a 180-day grace period for annual fee payment.

(2) The design is valid for 5 years and can be renewed twice, each time for 5 years, for a total of 15 years. Payment must be made 6 months before expiration.
