(1) Log in to the official website of the Swiss Patent Office ( https://www.ige.ch/de.html), click "EN" at the top of the homepage to switch to the English page.

(2) On the English page, click the entry "Patent searches in general" under "SERV ICES".

(3) On this page, click on the entry "Searching for patents yourself" under "Patent searches in general" on the right.

(4) After entering this page, click "Swissreg" to enter the patent query page.

(5) Click on the type of patent you want to query on the left side. Here, take the query for invention patents as an example, that is, click "Patente" on the left.

(6) Enter the patent number/application number on the query page and click "suchen" to query the patent.

(7) Click on the queried patent number to query the legal status and paid information of the patent.
