In the case of an international application for the Hague Appearance or renewal of an international registration, the relevant fee for the designation of Japan will be reduced from December 1, 2022, with the new fee standard as follows:

(1) CHF 507 (CHF 603 before adjustment) for each design included in the international application;

(2) CHF 574 (CHF 683 before adjustment) for each design included at the time of the first, second, third or fourth renewal of the international registration;

Effective January 1, 2023, the fees for specifying Canada and Hungary in an international application or renewal of an international registration will be adjusted.

Fees applicable to Canada will increase slightly:

(1) CHF 316 for each design included in the international application;

(2) For the first renewal of the international registration, each design included is CHF 276. (Hint! There is no separate fee for subsequent renewals.)

Fees applicable to Hungary will be reduced:

(1) The first design included in the international application or renewal application is CHF 47;

(2) 11 Swiss francs for each additional design.
