(1) Log in to the official website of the China State Intellectual Property Office (http://www.cnipa.gov.cn/) and click "Government Service Platform" under the "Services" item in the upper right corner of the homepage.

(2) On the "State Intellectual Property Office Government Service Platform" page, click "Inquiry on China and Multi-Country Patent Examination Information" in "Inquiry Service" to enter the "China and Multi-Country Patent Examination Information Inquiry" page.

(3) Register on the "China and Multi-Country Patent Examination Information Inquiry" page, and log in to the information inquiry system after successful registration.

(4) In the "Case Information Query" under "China Patent Examination Information Query", fill in the application number/patent number and verification code of the patent to be queried, and click "Query".

(5) Click the application information of the patent on the query results page to query the legal status of the patent.

(6) Click "Fees Information" on the query results page to query the payable and paid information for the patent.
